We are screening all our patients before their appointments to ask about COVID-19 symptoms and exposures.
We ask that you reschedule if you have experienced any of the following symptoms in the 24 hours prior to your appointment: fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell. We will also ask you to reschedule if you or anyone you have been exposed to has tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days, or is currently undergoing testing.
Car Check In
To keep you safe and maintain social distancing, we will check you in from your car at the time of your appointment. When you arrive in our parking lot, please call our office at 704-784-5901 and press option 5. One of our staff members will assist you via telephone. After phone check-in is complete, you can expect to wait in your vehicle until your physician is ready to see you. This will help limit the number of people in the waiting room and office.
We ask that all patients over the age of 2 wear a mask that has loops or ties that properly covers the nose and mouth throughout the duration of your visit. If the physician needs to examine your lower face or perform a procedure, he or she may ask you to briefly remove your mask.
All of our staff will also be wearing a mask at all times to protect you.
We ask that patients come to their appointments alone. Visitors will be asked to wait in the car. Exceptions to our visitor policy include one adult visitor if needed for medical aid, or one parent/guardian for minor patients. Patients and parents are asked to not bring along children unless the child is being seen as a patient.
Exceptions may be granted for patients who require special assistance to access care. Please call our office in advance of your appointment at 704-784-5901 to discuss any questions or concerns regarding visitors with our team.
